3. Placing order
We are taking heightened measures of hygiene and safety in the entire process of packing orders.

The possibility of placing orders in the online store on the www.podebarro.pt site is restricted to orders whose delivery and billing addresses are in mainland Portugal or in the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira.

We currently do not ship to any other countries apart from Portugal. For information on delivery to other destinations, namely EU countries, please contact us at online@podebarro.pt.
Orders for delivery to PO Boxes will not be accepted.

The products shown in the online catalogue are limited to existing stock. In case any item is unavailable, Pó de Barro will inform the Customer. For some products, duly identified, the order may be limited to a certain number of copies.

4. Delivery of the order and shipping costs
All orders confirmed by Pó de Barro will be delivered to the address specified by the Customer for delivering the order.

4.1. Home delivery
After order confirmation the client will receive:
– A first email and sms informing you that your order has already been picked up by the carrier at our facilities. In the same email you can check the tracking number (to track the order) and will also be provided with a link that allows you to change the address and delivery date (change of delivery charged by the carrier).
– A second email and sms informing you that your order has gone out for distribution and includes information on the date and period of delivery. In the same email you can consult the tracking number and a link will also be provided that allows for changing address and delivery date (change of delivery charged by the carrier).
– About 30 minutes prior to delivery, you will be contacted by phone by the carrier.
The shipping costs associated with each order are calculated as followed:

  • Mainland Portugal: 5.00€, free for orders over 100€;
  • Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira: 25.00€, free for orders over 150€

It is up to the Customer to check the quantity and condition of the goods upon delivery.

5. Time of delivery
We try our very best to meet all delivery times. However, there may be delays – e.g. postal/carrier delays, logistics, or bad weather. We will keep you updated as much as we can, and you should be able to track your order.

The estimated delivery time is 2 to 5 working days for mainland Portugal; 7 to 8 working days for Madeira Island; 8 to 9 working days for Porto Santo Island; 8 to 11 working days for São Miguel Island; 9 to 14 working days for Santa Maria, Terceira, Faial, Pico, Graciosa and São Jorge Islands and 10 to 17 working days for Corvo and Flores Islands.

There are products, which due to limited stocks, may have a longer delivery and this information is available on the product page.

In case the same order includes items subject to different delivery periods, the delivery period for the whole order will be that of the item with the longest delivery period.

In case we run out of stock, the customer will be contacted by email about the new expected delivery date and he/she will decide whether to maintain or cancel the order.

The foreseeable time for delivery of goods is set in the information associated with each item.
Additional information regarding the delivery times may be requested by calling +351 91 85 43 751, weekdays between 9am and 6pm, or via the e-mail address: online@podebarro.pt.
